Here is what some of our customers are saying about Supreme International Limited's vertical processor.

"The Supreme does everything I want it to. Mixes evenly from beginning to finish, all the feed is kept in the ration, no leaf loss. Tub grinders break and lose a lot of leaves. We have gained 3 liters of milk per cow per day and increased the butterfat. A balanced ration makes it easy to maintain body weight on cows. TMR allows me to mix a ration for dry cows and heifers for up to two days without mold or deterioration in the feed. This can't be done without 8% to 10% dry rations in the feed. The mixers pay for itself in 3 years on a 100-cow herd. It saves me three machines, feeder, mixer and cutter. We were able to save about five high producing cows which couldn't handle the previous fluctuation of the feed. They were getting skinnier and not cycling. In three months all the cows, especially these five, were higher than they were before. My feed costs dropped dramatically. On the computer I couldn't get enough grain and protein into the high producers. I like that the mixer is overbuilt, it should last a long time. No wearing parts chains, it is cost wise. The machine is built strong enough that bumping with the loader causes no damage."

"The Supreme is very well designed, well built and does excellent mixing for TMR. The machine does an excellent job of cutting. You can make and TMR with straight hay and brewer's grain which you can't do with any other machine. You are able to monitor you moisture with hay with this type of mixer for optimum feed intake. It's a trouble free machine, made to last."

"No matter what kind of bale put in the Supreme, it cuts it to the quality we want. The machine mixes with superior accuracy and can blend anything. It's built like a tank, almost indestructible. We can feed a balanced ration where we can control our moisture, fiber, and energy and cut our feeding time in half. As soon as we went to TMR feeding we gained 5 liters per cow. We were able to dry up 15 cows and come up with the same amount of milk in the tank. Health wise we stabilized stomach upsets therefore having far less health problems with the herd. The Supreme has allowed us to manage the herd with a lot more time to be used in other areas instead of feeding. The machine is user friendly. It is so adaptable and simple it takes a minimal amount of effort to blend any ration. Horsepower requirements are very low as well."

What some people have said about specific processors.

FEEDLOT series

We were looking for a new mixer for two main reasons. We wanted a mixer that could efficiently mix higher levels of ethanol by-product and do this with very low maintenance.

We found the Supreme vertical mixer to meet both those needs plus several added benefits. The Supreme mixer has almost 50% more capacity in the same size box and can efficiently mix that load at low engine rpm. This saves fuel and time. We were able to drop one feed truck from our fleet. The Supreme mixer has matched or surpassed our old mixer in all of our mixed feed tests and has a very low maintenance level with no box cleaning needed.

We also found that the customer service we have received from Cappel Sales has been one of the best relationships we have ever had. Thanks Dick and Todd.

I have found the Supreme vertical mixer to meet both a need for a better mix on high percentage wet distillers grain diets and a lower cost of maintenance. The Supreme mixer has almost 25% more capacity in the same size box and has improved our overall fuel efficiency by 16%. Our feed truck is now carrying more feed and delivering faster than before. All of this on the same size truck we were using before. The hydrostatic direct drive system has reduced the power needed to mix larger loads and I feel this will extend the life of the transmission because the mixer is no longer being powered from a PTO take off on the automatic transmission.

In addition, the new Supreme 600TM mixer has surpassed our expectations to lower our feed truck maintenance costs. Routine maintenance is simple and Cappel Sales provides the necessary service on a timely basis.

Model 500 - TM/PT

The man on the radio said it is made of 1/2" and 3/4" steel and has only one moving part. When I heard that, I wanted to see it for myself. So, I took a trip to Wetaskiwin, Alberta and did just that. We now have a Model 500 and like it very much. These people pay attention to detail, for the design, right down to the final paint job. It is a unit built to last. We are mixing seven different ingredients, grass silage, alfalfa hay, local hay, alfalfa cubes, bakery waste, brewers grain, and corn silage. The cows love it and went up milk four pounds per cow. Saving $1350 on grain per month. Does it work? YOU BET IT DOES!

Over the years I have had the opportunity to work with several various feed processing machines. I was approached by our local Supreme Dealer to demonstrate for them and myself how the Supreme would perform using large round bales. I was so impressed with our demo, it didn't leave the farm. As a fair comparison, I kept right on feeding the same ratio of feed as before. After the first week our 100 Holstein cows consumed 600 lbs. more, of mixed round silage hay and silo corn, than prior to being mixed. After one month had elapsed, our cows were eating exactly 100 lbs. per 24 hours more of the same feed. Since then the feed consumption has leveled out. Understandably our production per cow improved by 6 lbs. of milk/day. At Hiding Acres we grow all of our own forage and aim to keep our cereal purchases to a competitive minimum. I am convinced the Supreme 500 has enables us to garner more production mileage out of our feeding program. We run the "500" quite easily with an 85 HP John Deere. Dust is non-existent, consistency is 100% on the end mix. No waste inside the feed alley to plug vacuum tanks anymore. I have not yet mixed commodity feeds. However, with the disappearance of feed freight assistance and changes to the WGT act, I have that option. My only regret, on the Supreme, is that I didn't buy one 10 years ago. Keep up the excellent work!

Model 600 TM/PT

Paul Souza Co. started TMR about 15 years ago. We have used all the different brands of mixers. We were always repairing chains, fixing slats, rebuilding augers and never knowing and feeling free to be away from the dairy. I finally broke down and bought a little bigger horsepower tractor and a Supreme mixer box and its been a dream come true. I've had my 600 almost 2 years and I've had one breakdown, the conveyer chain that took 20 minutes to fix.

I put as much hay, oats, bean straw, silage and grain of any amounts with no worries. The mixing is fast and it will feed our fast, slow and even as can be expected. The Supreme is made of AR200 metal which out last other competing boxes. I'm sure I have many more years of service before I replace any wore out augers, sides or any other parts.

We operate a 55 cow "purebred" herd of Holsteins and were looking for a way to "cut & mix" our round bales were too heavy and moist for conventional bale cutter processors. The Supreme 600 handles 2 silage bales easily (or 1 hay & 1 silage) and mixes thoroughly. We are pleased so far with our Supreme 600, it does everything it is supposed to. We operate the Supreme 600 with our 6400 John Deere (85 HP) and find them compatible. The Supreme is built heavy with little maintenance required. All in all we are pleased with our Supreme 600 Cutter/Mixer/Feeder.

Model 700/700T - TM/PT

Our recent purchase of a Supreme 700 Cutter/Mixer/Feeder was because the unit is very durable, has low maintenance and has a simple common sense design. We have found the Supreme will handle all types and quality of hay and straw and gives us the fastest and most accurate feed mix of any TMR mixer on the market.

One special note is that the roughage is the length we want and not ground to pieces like other mixers do. It gives us accurate mixes and an excellent quality of feed.

We have a dairy operation and currently process 10 loads per day with our Supreme Model 700. We have not had problems with the unit and find the machine very low in maintenance requirements. It handles the hay, especially the coastal hay real well. We are very happy with the overall performance of the machine.

Model 900T - TM/PT

We have had a 900 for 2 years now. Repairs have been trivial and blade maintenance is easy. The main feature for us is the consistency of the ration, we have no sorting. Before we had the Supreme we had our hay ground to an enclosed bay, when we started processing our own hay we saved 8 plus bales per week. It's not hard to figure that this machine pays for itself.

Model 1200T - TM/PT

We really like the heavy duty construction of the units and the low number of moving parts which are easy to see and service. The result, less downtime. The Supreme mixes faster and has a better final mix. We have noticed that when unloading the feed is very even in the bunks, there are no clumps or high spots, just nice & even. The extra volume load of the model 1200 means less trips back and forth for our drivers and has helped to reduce the times required for feeding.
