From the humble beginnings in 1953 of one man George Hunerfauth, more than 40+ years later, made a decision that he would forever change the direction of the cattle feeding industry. In 1992 George made the shift from distributing farm equipment to manufacturing cattle feeding equipment.
That decision formed the company of Supreme International Limited.

The first few years were the formative years. Extensive research and development and asking the customers opinions became the foundation on which Supreme was built. Since 1992 Supreme has experienced tremendous growth, which in itself has necessitated the company to re-focus and be prepared to continually meet the demands of the customer while maintaining quality, dependability and durability in our products.

Supreme is a family run company. We aren’t just a number here, but a person with a family who lives in the community where we work. We have continued to demonstrate this by our success as working together as a team. To show our commitment to staff the company has implemented an incentive program to ensure that everybody equally benefits from the growth and success of Supreme.
We have also worked to make increased efficiencies within our production process. We have made improvements with our internal procedures and work with state of the art drafting and design software and technology. In October 2005 we purchased a new High Definition Plasma to better meet the demands of the customer. We continually make improvements with our equipment to ensure that Supreme stays current and efficient.

Supreme has created positions within to balance the workload and streamline the company structure. We have a level of trained Coordinators & Lead Hands who are responsible for overseeing specific departments within the factory. Our management structure is also reflective of the progress that this company continues to demonstrate.
George is very proud of the people he has chosen to lead Supreme. Jeannette Guertin has been with the company for more than 9 years and currently holds the position of President. The next level of management represents all areas within the company. We have Joel Huberdeau as Director of Product Support, Danielle Guertin as Finance and Human Resource Manager, Jack Hendriks as Technical Manager, Steve Dignard as Assistant Production Manager, and Cameron Elliott as Purchasing and Inventory Control Manager. Many of these people have been with Supreme for several years and in addition all bring a number of prior years of directly related experience to the team. Our company uses the words “Team” and “World Class” often and believes that we all contribute to the success of Supreme International Limited equally. We are all part of the “Supreme Team.”

We continue to put a lot of effort in the safety program. 2002 marked the successful achievement in receiving the Certificate of Recognition in the Partners in Injury Reduction Program. This signifies the remarkable level of commitment demonstrated by all staff at every level. We continue to have a thorough and comprehensive safety program lead by our own Joint Health and Safety Committee made up of volunteer employees. This committee monitors and manages the company safety programs and provides training to staff on a regular basis. In 2004 Supreme was honored with a safety award presented by the Alberta Chamber of Commerce sponsored by WCB.

Our efforts continue in research and development. With our introduction of the Supreme Enviro Processor, Supreme now has met the environmental challenge head on. The Enviro Processor can efficiently process and blend the different waste commodities of varying densities and moisture content. This gives the user the ability to cut and process different waste commodities such as wood waste, animal mortalities, biosolids and vegetable waste and then blend those commodities with bulking agents all in one machine. We have also made several subtle improvements to the Supreme Processor, again responding to our customers needs.

We have actively supported continuing education through a Bursary to the Olds College sponsoring the Applied Agriculture Technology and Entrepreneurship Program.
